Troubleshooting

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

Follow these guides before submitting a support request.

Charger Not Powering On

  1. 1Check the circuit breaker in your electrical panel — reset if tripped
  2. 2Verify the charger is receiving power (indicator light should be on)
  3. 3Check for any GFCI outlets on the circuit and reset if needed
  4. 4Inspect the charging cable for visible damage
  5. 5Try unplugging and re-plugging the charger (if hardwired, skip this step)
  6. 6If still no power, submit a technical support request below

Breaker Keeps Tripping

  1. 1Do not reset the breaker more than once — repeated resets can be a fire hazard
  2. 2Check if other high-draw appliances are on the same circuit
  3. 3Verify the charger amperage matches the circuit breaker rating
  4. 4Look for any visible damage to the charging cable or outlet
  5. 5Check if the vehicle is drawing more current than the circuit supports
  6. 6Submit a technical support request — a tripping breaker requires professional inspection

Slow Charging Speed

  1. 1Check your vehicle's charging settings — many EVs have scheduled or limited charging modes
  2. 2Verify the charger amperage in the app or on the unit label
  3. 3Check if the vehicle's onboard charger is limiting the rate (common in older EVs)
  4. 4Ensure the charging cable is fully seated in both the charger and vehicle
  5. 5High ambient temperatures can temporarily reduce charging speed — this is normal
  6. 6If speed is consistently below expected, submit a support request

Wi-Fi / App Connectivity Issues

  1. 1Restart your home router and wait 2 minutes before reconnecting
  2. 2Confirm the charger is within 30 feet of your router (or use a Wi-Fi extender)
  3. 3Open the charger's app and re-enter your Wi-Fi network credentials
  4. 4Check for firmware updates in the charger app and install if available
  5. 5Ensure your router is broadcasting on 2.4 GHz (most chargers don't support 5 GHz)
  6. 6If connectivity issues persist after these steps, submit a support request
